Snow Day

We got lots of snow today with the spring storm. It's interesting to see how the wind created really big drifts int some areas and almost no snow in other areas. The girls liked being out in the snow walking around, digging in it, and watching Nick help the neighbors dig out. We didn't stay out too long since it was realy windy and cold, but here's a couple of pictures of the girls out in the snow.

Lil Gardeners

On Tuesday the girls and Nick decided it was time to plant our seeds to start our summer-time garden. They had a great time making the holes with a pencil and then getting to drop the seeds down into the holes.

Last but not Least

Since I haven't been good about updating our blog, I have had to add a few posts today and here's the last one for today. Yesterday Danica diappeared in the house for a few minutes and when I went to find her I discoved she had gotten into my makeup and had put my 8 hour lipstick all over around her eyes. I couldn't help but laugh and take a picture to share with you to give you a laugh too! I took a short video, but couldn't get the video to load correctly:(

Zoo and the Museum

Today was a free day at the museum, so my mom and I took the girls for their first visit. We had a good time looking at all the exhibits, especially the dinosaurs and the Discovery Zone. In the Discovery Zone the girls got to experiment with hands-on stuff. Daycia loved the "funny mirrors" and Danica kept trying to find an alligator in the exhibits. The closest we came to an alligator was one of a crock. The neatest part was being able to watch someone work on cleaning and preserving a dinosaur fossil.















And a few weeks ago we took the girls to the zoo for free day. I only included a few pictures of the girls and no animals since I'm sure you all know what the animals look like. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time.

Big Girl Bed

So a few weeks ago I turned Danica's bed into a toddler bed. She was so proud and excited!! She has done great sleeping in it for naps and all night and hasn't fallen out either! She certainly is growing up fast.
