Science at our house

A few weeks ago we got hit with a big hail storm. Our roof needs to be replaced and we have damage to both our vehicles since they were out in the storm while we were eating dinner at Nick's parent's house. Nick brought home some dr ice to try the myth of pulling dents out of your car with it...needless to say it didn't work, but the kids thought it was really neat to watch the water in our fountain "boil" from the ice in it.

Mentos candy and diet soda make for a fun geyser on a hot summer day.

Nick bought the girls a water rocket to fire. He said one of his favorite things to do as a kid was shoot his water rocket, so he was excited to share this with his kids. The girls had fun seeing how far they could make it shoot!

Neat experiments=$10, Fun had by kids=Priceless!!

Danica rides alone!! and the Fourth of July

Danica has been working on and off for the last month and a half at learning to ride her bike sans training wheels and yesterday SHE DID IT!!! Yay Dani! We are so proud of you!

Here's some of the pictures I took on the 4th of July. We celebrated sitting by Lake Loveland with some great friends and watching more fireworks at home. We only had a few of our own to light, but it was still fun!

All Kinds of fun!

We went to the Flying X ranch the weekend before the fourth of July. We got to stay in a "cabin", went fishing, riding four-wheelers, swimming and lots of hanging out. We had a great time!! Thanks Darin and Laura for taking us!
