Christmas

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We were very blessed and enjoyed the company of family and friends! Here are a few pictures of the girls opening presents. They both got new bikes and we got a wii for the family.

Sledding

I took the girls sledding on the little hill behind our neighbor's house this morning. Lots of fun!

Santa

Nick and I took the girls to see Santa this morning. Daycia didn't want to go, but we dragged her along anyway. Danica seemed excited about it telling us she was going to tell him she wants a camera, chapstick and gum, but when we finally got up there she wanted nothing to do with him. She cried the entire time and wouldn't hardly sit near him. I had to sit on the chair next to him with her on my knee and lean out of the picture. Daycia did great and loved telling him what she wants. Oh well! Maybe next year we'll get them both to smile:)

Daycia's Holiday Program

Pictures from Daycia's hoiday program. It was really cute, but hard to get good pictures of her with the other kids standing in front of her. I tried to get some video of her, but couldn't get the camera to focus :(.

Halloween 2009

We were so glad the weather cooperated and was so great for Trick-or-Treating on Halloween! Here are some pictures from the fun times we had!! Daycia was a beautiful Snow White and Danica was a flapper girl in her "shake it shake it" dress!

Our neighbor Denece hooked up a wagon train to her four wheeler to pull the kids around the neighborhood. It was too funny to watch all the kids pile out when it stopped!

Snow Days and pumpkins

Two days of snow gave us lots of fun! Daycia and Danica had a great time playing in the snow and I helped them build a snowman. Too bad we didn't have any sleds though.

Danica liked pretending to "swim" in the snow.




We carved our pumpkins last night. Daycia and Danica liked digging out the seeds to cook and cleaning out the goo.



We haven't taken a picture of our jack-o-lanterns lit up yet, but will do that with our Halloween picture post.

Daycia's School picture

We got Daycia's school picture back this past week and boy did it turn out cute! Can't believe she's 6! We're looking forward to her first parent-teacher confrence on Thursday. Hopefully not to many "issues" to address.

Daycia is Six and the pumpkin patch

Nick and I got to take the kids to the pumpkin patch yesterday and enjoy the beautiful weather. We searched for some good pumpkins, but most of them were still green. We ended up buying some big ones at King Soopers, but we had fun anyway!





We had Daycia's 6th birthday party where she invited 5 friends to have pizza, cake, ice cream and go to the movies. They had fun dancing to music and seeing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in the theater.
