Here are the girls wearing the aprons I made them for Valentine's day. They turned out super cute, even on my silly kids :)

Birthday, sledding and aprons
I just had time to sit down and get caught up on the pictures I've taken. The pictures got kind of jumbled in this post, but I ran out of patience to fix it :) The first few pictures are of the aprons I made for the girls for Valentine's day. I bought the fabric with the ruching at the top already. I finished the three edges with the sewing machine and sewed the black ribbon across the bottom part of the ruched top. I left enough ribbon on each side to tie around to the back. I sewed a piece of ribbon in the middle to go around their neck and attached velcro to one side to make it easier to put on and take off. To hide where I attached the ribbon at the neck I hand sewed on cute ladybug buttons. After I give them to the girls, I'll post some pictures of them wearing them.
Here's some pictures of the girls playing in the snow last weekend after the big dumping we got!
I also took the girls sledding on the small hill to the west of us. Fun times, but it never lasts too long.
Pictures at Danica's 5th Birthday party last weekend. I can hardly believe she's going to be in KINDERGARTEN in the fall. Danica had fun opening her gifts, making a craft, watching a movie and having 5 friends sleep over.
More sledding pictures
Here's the heart shaped cake Nick made for Danica. It turned outpretty cute and was very tasty. Nick made it a cherry cake by adding chopped marichino cherries to the box of cake mix :)
Danica's sleepover! Kids were all snuggled in watching Treasure Buddies.

Swimming
Nick and I took the girls swimming at the Funplex this morning. The kids had a great time. I wish I could have gotten a few more pictures of Daycia, but she just goes way too quick :)
Both girls are swimming so great now, it's amazing how quickly they learn!
