Swimming

Our community pool opened last weekend, but the weather was not warm enough to enjoy it until this weekend. Since it was the last day of school, we decided to join the crowd and head to the pool. The girl's cousin Gianna hung out with us and had fun playing in the water with the girls.

Worms and Birds

Our neighbors gave us a box of night crawlers they bought for fishing and we decided to put them into our garden.

Daycia digging her hole to put a worm in.

Danica digging too.

Daycia Shows me the worm she chose.

Danica is not too sure about them. This was the third one she held...this time without throwing it across the garden instead of putting it into the hole.

This Mama robin built her nest in the evergreen tree right next to the garden. She laid eggs and the last one hatched sometime late yesterday, early this morning.

Here are the babies. Hopefully mama doesn't find the worms to feed to her babies, but if she does I guess that's the circle of life!

Friends at the Park

Last week I helped out our friends and wathced their kids for the morning. We took a bike ride to the park and had lots of fun playing. Thanks Hailey and Jacob!

Last week Nick had told the girls he would take them fishing, so on his day off we took them up the road about twenty minutes to a little lake. The weather wasn't so great, it was pretty cold, overcast and windy (as you can see by Danica's hair!). We only stayed for about thirty minutes and didn't catch anything...but it's the process not the product and the time spent that was important! We stopped by the fish hatchery that was right there and watched the fish feeding on the food. We saw a HUGE fish that Nick would love to catch too!!

While riding in the car one afternoon last week I looked back and saw this.....

Too Sweet!!
