Yesterday my cousin Lisa's daughter Mary had spent the night with the girls and I took the three of them to a local church's Easter Egg Hunt. They had a bounce house, popcorn, some games, snow cones and the egg hunt too. The had fun and got LOTS of eggs filled with candy.
After their showers and dinner the girls had fun coloring eggs!
It's nice that the girls are able to do this mostly by themselves now.
The church we attend had a family night at the rec center last Sunday evening, so Nick and I took the girls for a fun evening of swimming. No pictures of me, since I'm always the one behind the camera. They loved the lazy river and going down the big slide. The kids are getting so good at swimming and are very much looking forward to our community pool opening for the summer. I'm excited too since Danica will be tall enough to touch in the shallow end this year without any help for mom, dad, or a floatation device.
I am attending a good friend's wedding in July and recently went shopping to find a dress. I ended up finding two that I liked and since neither one was very expensive, I bought both. I tried them both on in an attempt to decide which one to wear. The kids decided I needed to have my picture taken in each dress, so here I am, with a few funny kid pictures too :) I think I'm going to wear the first dark purple one since Nick likes it the best :))
A few weeks ago I was on my spring break from work and had the opportunity to go with Danica and her preschool class to her swim day. She had so much fun swimming with her friends and splashing all around.
I have been HORRIBLE at posting the last few months!!! Life gets busy and time gets away from me somehow...ANYWAY I'll add a few posts to get you up to date on our happenings, the first of which being some pictures of the girls practicing for this summer's camping trips. Nothing like a little livingroom campout! The girls started in their seperate tents, but after Nick and I went to bed they ended up sleeping together in the bigger orange tent :)
